Located in Kitchener,
ON About Sheldale Sheldale is committed to producing shelties
that are balanced in their health, conformation, temperament and ability to
work. All our dogs are tested for common inheritable health issues such as
hip dysplasia, thyroid problems, eye problems , VWD,
and MDR-1 in order to ensure we are producing top quality healthy puppies.
All our litters are planned with the goal of matching the standard set by the
Canadian Kennel Club as closely as possible in order to achieve proper
conformation and set a good example for the breed. Temperament and the
ability to live with a family are also important and our goal is to have dogs
that are friendly, loving and loyal family pets. We also hope that all our
dogs have what it take to do what they were intended to do and work with a
desire to please their owner. Our commitment to these goals is what our
breeding program is based upon and what each litter is planned to display. We are proud members in good standing
